That car is going up for auction and is expected to fetch between 550,000 and 700,000 British pounds. That's $880,000 to $1,120,000 US dollars at the current exhange rate.
That works out to about to 1.4 to 1.8 million Aussie Pesos.
I thought it was neat how there were so many styling cues that appeared on the Shelby cars. I guess it was a case of everyone was soing similar things at the time. If you look at the modern cars we drive they all have similar syling. it's always been that way I guess. A 68 camaro doesn't look that much different to a 68 mustang. The cars that try for realy different styling usually bomb in the market place so it doesn't pay for the manufacturers to break out of the mold. Any one remember the Edsel? I think they area a cool car now but the public hated them when they were released.
So who's going to build the first Maserati replica?
Cheers
