JLW, I would start by taking all that wiring out and cut and trim everything to clean it up. The wiring for the stock harness used the Ford ignition control. There are several wires that you don't need since you are running the other system. I haven't used the system you have but I think thay are all close. The MSD I use I only need 2 wires from the Classic harness. Wire 128 which is ignition and wire 132 which is your tach signal. You can eliminate all the others. I would also read your owners manual because you may not need the ballast resistor. The other wires on the ignition box are usually to the distributor and the coil, and power from the battery. You can give me a call and I can walk you through it. The heater hoses can be attached so they come out without any interference. It looks like you can shorten them up a bit. You can also move the valve so it isn't so far down the line if your cable has enough slack. I usually run the hoses in the same spot but higher up to hide them more. There are several types of overflow tanks available. I normally use an aluminum one from Jegs and make a bracket down on the front crossmember to attach it.

The new mounts are also a 2 piece but they are 3/4" lower.
