Default Thanks yet again!

Thanks, Don -

I actually do use the ballast resistor because I need it if (or, unfortunately, probably when) the HyFire dies again and I have to use the bypass plug.

Also, unfortunately, I think most of the wiring mess you see is part of the Mallory system - all the stock CR stuff is pretty neatly routed and bound. I do still use the stock CR harness to wire the alternator.

Could you send me a picture of a "Don Scott/CRII" engine bay with a 351? If it's not a copyright problem, I'd love to see a pro's use of available space, especially (at the moment) with the heater wiring and overflow tank, and where you locate the coil and ignition box.

Also, what is your recommended coil/ignition combination? I've been through the "we can't find anything wrong" routine too many times before to really trust the HyFire, so I'm open to swapping out. I'm running a 351 with Edel RPM heads (~10.7:1), a Torker II intake, and a Compcams 282S camshaft (.528 lift, 236@0.050 duration) that you've helped me with before.

Thanks again,

JLW
