Over here in Alabama there is one 1/4 mile track that I am familiar with that will let you run on Test and Tune Sundays with no problem. Only thing is they don't prep the track well. You get whatever was leftover from Sat night. The best I have run there is a 11.17 @ 132 mph. That is on Nittos with a sorry 2.0+ 60' time. Of course this track is not NHRA certified.

There is also a 1/8 mile track that has test and tune on Weds night. The only limitation that I know of there is that if you break 6.99 you gotta have a helmet. I haven't made it yet due to my crummy 60' time. My best there was a 7.13 @ 105 mph.

With practice I should be able to get into the 10's in the 1/4 and the 6's in the 1/8. The thing I like is I drive it there, run the heck out of it and drive it home. I know slicks would get me the better times but it would probably break something as well.
