Andy,

Back to the original subject, ok, if the car was engineered for the Big Block, then there is no reason why it would not fit. The original 427 frame configuration allows for this, as does the original small block (if you redo the engine mounts on the frame rails). No reason for them not to fit........However, due to some of the footbox configurations, a big block can be a tight fit at times...Doable, but tight...........
