Default Exactly like the Harley "snobs"...

I always wave if I have time, when I am out on one of my bikes. The European, Italian and Japanese bikers wave back. Most Harley riders act like little children who see that "your toy is badder than mine" or something. My customized V-Max 1200 V-4 www.madmax.com can beat any Harley in a drag race, (stock 1/4 mile is 10.8 sec @124 mph) but it's like the Porsche vs hi-po cobra .. why bother? On the street it's potentially dangerous. I have a good rep with the local gendarmes to keep up. In fact they wave hi and grin.

The street racing is similar to full contact martial arts sparring. I am not worried about hurting my sparring partner, I never have. But there are few people I trust to go full contact with in the ring, and in fact I have taken injuries from unqualified or persons with poor temperaments in the past... meaning they lost their cool (Jeet Kune Do is my "art") It's an easy way to get hurt for no good purpose.

The Harley guys have had their little rears whipped by some 600 cc crotch rocket in the past, (that cost $7,000, is way faster and easily out handles them
It's an inferiority complex. After all, their bikes are slow and cumbersome and overpriced.. the Porsche guys are the same when it comes to facing a real musclecar...they realize a bigger predator has arrived. Enjoy the inherent satisfaction of your reptilian predator and be careful out there.
