Ford Motorsport will tell ya 16 degrees initial, 36 degrees total, all in around 2500 - 2700 rpm.

With good fuel you might be able to bump it up to 38 degrees total.

Your MSD has vacuum advance? Check your manual that came with the dist. or call MSD and see what they suggest in the way of stop bushings to place in the dist.
