Getting the distribution even on your setup would mean individual nozzels in each port or a "fogger" system. Most of these seem to be bigger hits than 50-75 HP I guess you could jet them right down.
Most of the dry systems on the market are for EFI cars and they rely on the engine management to do the enrichment.
As for timing it would be safer to pull tome igmition timing out when on the bottle to limit the chance of detonation. I remember seeing an MSD ignition retarder that could be tied into the firing button. There's probably a lot more electronics available since I was playing wit it.
