The side oiler block that everyone thinks they have to have oils the mains and rods first and then the
oil goes to the camshaft and top end. The center oiler block is like a small block chevy in that the
oil travels a center galley above the camshaft in the valley. The
oil goes down this galley and feeds down and around the cam journal, oiling the camshaft on the way down to the mains and rods. These blocks work great and I would take all of the good ones I could get. We install roller cam bearings in some of these blocks and this blocks the oil of to the camshaft and we make the groove around the camshaft bigger and it oils as good as a side oiler. We have made over 750HP with these blocks with no problems and that is more than most of these guys will make for there cobras. Hope this helps, Keith Craft
