Bill,
I got one so these are facts.
The block is NOT finished decked
If you are going to use a stroker kit most do not use standard bore pistons so you will have to bore block. If you use standard bore pistons you will still have to finish hone.
The block will have to be clearenced for the stroker crank.
The front and rear main caps will have to be machined to clear oil pans.

Add a few hundred for machining.

BUT

You will have a block stronger than the Nascar blocks, you will also have a motor that will kick the crap out of 95% of all the BB 427 Sideoilers that you will encounter.
