Thanks for all the info. I have seen the ads in the magazines and have already been to Dart's web site so I have a pretty good idea what I'm getting with the block, I'm just trying to justify the expense. Another factor I had not considered is registration in Virginia with a new block in a new kit. Since I'm months away from starting I have the time to decide and plan to get the most bang for my buck.
Mr. Fixit: I'm looking at around 500 hp but I'd like a bullet-proof bottom end to start with and the Dart would alleviate a lot of worries.
