Don,
I had three shims on each door to move it back far enough, then
while sitting on my milk crate and staring into space(I do that a lot nowadays),I noticed the bolt for my steering column mounting was hitting the defroster plenum which was holding body about 3/4 " back from where it should be. Fixed that and now doors fit real good. Man I thought sanding the body was tiresome, this fitting and fixing is a real pain in the tukus. Oh and put in the "new" manual that the door latch opening should not be cut out until you're mounting the doors. I cut mine where indicated
and guess what? Wrong position! Now I have to re-glass entire area and start over again.
