i.e. Aluminum. They did have fiberglass trunk liners and footboxes/
Put together from a bunch of hand rolled alloy sheets, welded together, slathered in body filler, painted and shipped.
And now they can start an argument just by saying "my 'glass car is better than your tin car...."
