zipzip,

Why the Demon? The Holley is a good carb also, but the Demon is just better thru innovation and new technology. My installation also had alot to due with me deciding to go with the Demon.

#1 Four post idle adjustments. Allowed me to fine tune the idle circuits on an engine with a large amount of overlap.

#2. Rear idle adjustment screw that can be accessed without removing the carb from the engine. I had a small stumble with the Demon at first. Easy fix, just reduce the front idle screw setting and add it to the rear one to achieve the idle RPMs I wanted.

#3 No chock horn assembly, cleaner looking and less air vortec into carb caused by chock horn. I am using a K&N X Stream air filter with ram air being delivered to the top of the carb Via the hood scope and air cleaner filter lid. I could actually hear the chock lid rattling caused by the air passing thru the filter top.

#4 The carb just over all out performed the Holley. Period!

#5 I have another Demon installed on my SBC and was pleased with how it performed on that engine. It helped sell me on another.

I personelly feel that Demon brand Carbs are the best on the market. Even though the Speed Demon is an entry level carb, it has features like the higher priced models.
