Sorry not to get back to you on this but I have been at Road America in Wisconsin since last week. If you still need some questions please ask again and I will try and answer them for you.
Here is what I do to calculate my desired gears:
1. measure my rear wheel diameter which is 26.5 inches
2. plug in my transmission from the choices given in the
drop down box menu.
3. I put in the gears I am thinking about running eg: 3.73
or 3.54.
The table will show me at what RPM my mph will be. I know my
desired top RPM will be no more than 6500 rpm. From this I can determine how fast I can expect my top end to be in each gear.
