Yo Randy, I think your headers are 1 5/8" tubes. Maurice told me he puts those on all of Bill's engines. I measured mine and sure enough, that's what I'm running. Not 1 1/2. In any event, I think the Demon carb is about $250 or so over the Holley. My Mighty Demon lists for $500. Didn't Barry Grant suggest a Speed Demon? That's what they recommended to Clyde (who was also threatening to replace his Holley with a BG). Bill stuck the biggest cam he could shove into my motor without having to flycut the pistons. I think it's the cam and that big Vic. Jr. intake that pushed me over into the Mighty Demon category. If you go down there, you can look at mine still in the box. It's a nice piece of equipment. In any event, I'm glad I went with the Demon and that it has mechanical secondaries. I want a screamer!
