OK, beyond my curiosity why this thread is still in existance, allow me to weigh in as a "fellow SPF owner."
First of all, what does "come over here" mean? From where? This is the only Cobra forum I post on. Is there some sort of Dark Side where SPF miscreants loiter, conspiring to bring their SPF smack to this forum?
Good grief, the only time I ever hear about my particular 'brand' is when I engage in contrary discussions about Saint Carroll. Then, inevitibly my position is skewed by what I drive - "well, obviously you own a Superformance, bla, bla, bla," when I've never used my car as a talking point, pro or con.
There's a lot of thin skin in this clubhouse, and I don't see a particular pattern of it being confined to SPF owners.
But I will admit this - it burns my biscuits to read comments about how my car won't be worth a plug nickel when Saint Carroll floods the market with his own SPF iteration. That sounds a lot like baiting to me, and begging a defensive reply.
I never realized what I drove was such a big frigging deal until I waded into this shark tank.
Sheesh.
