Clip on the camera icon to see my photo gallery and some of your responses will have answers. I'm trying to do a replica of the original twin paxton setup. There is an image there for comparison provided by WickedFast. Also there is a good image of my GT500 dual carb setup.
Clois,Jordanatkins305, Sizzler,& SteveR - You'll see that I have already put jigsaw to glass and learned to fiberglass along the way. My hood carries a scoop similar to the original. I figure about 1/2 inch of clearance.
SteveR - Good Call, I'm installing in September to test and then sell if all goes as planned. To answer your question I stumbled upon this crossram on an EBAY sale. I paid $813 for it.
Jordanatkins305 - My engine is based on a 390 FE. I'll keep in touch about the intake.
