Cool Get the kit
You can get a Stainless Steel hose kit that allows you to connect at 1.5 and 1.75 ( some have more options )

They are pretty good and inexpensive.

Check on ebay. Search for: stainless Hose.

They run about $35.00 to $80.00.

Just a thought.
