I believe each manufacturerer splashed whichever original Shelby that suited them, but they also picked the side they liked. Other's just grabbed one and did it or just did their own thing and to heck with the original. However some, like ERA, chose the best features of an original and incorporated them into one body, but they did hit ride height right on with that "hunker down" look at the rear.

Here's a shot of Mac Archer's original from the front as he's coming down for the start at a vintage race. Both wide hip cars, the ERA's and originals are level to the ground at the side pipes/rocker panels. And from my gallery: http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/s...t=1&thecat=500
