cobra mustang is easy if that is his car in question, just put Bridgestone BLIZZAKS on ALL FOUR corners mounted on spare/cheap Crown VIctoria police car steel wheels and you will be surprised at how well the mustang gt or mustang cobra will perform in snow. just be careful of heavy dry road usage as the tires will wear quickly in those conditions. been there /done that.
for you guys with the miata comments, thanks..i have been contemplating getting one but was concerned about its light weight/lower clearances and handling in snow which we get too much of here in the winter. think i will pass and keep my 4wd sport trac, just wanted something more fun but practicality wins i guess..so no miata for me now.
rich...been there in the snake too on a 'must get there' mission, the car on the snow was a handful, an oily skidaroo venture, suicide ice skates on the highway. could not get it parked fast enough as ya still cant be light enough on the throttle and the tires don't bite, they skate ! bill
