Well, the good news is the top came off #1 piston. A new set of slugs should get my baby back on the road. Yeah, I was kinda thinkin' if the bottom end was fragged that maybe I should consider a 427 Windsor, but really, this motor is perfect for me. I had the Summit and PAW catalogs out but it looks like I'll get to hang onto most of my money, after all.
I really enjoyed getting together with you guys and sure missed ALL THOSE WHO DIDN'T SHOW UP!!!
And, Arcenio: Major THANKS AGAIN for the use of your trailer. Otherwise I'd still be pushing my car somewhere in northwestern Illinois-maybe to White Pines park by now.
How 'bout a WCCC Spring Nationals for 2004? Hope to see you folks over the winter or perhaps again this fall if the weather holds out for awhile.
