Sorry to hear about the scratches. But if I were you, I'd tell the daughter if she does it again, she'll have to live in that wagon.
You know, I don't have any kids yet, but I was putting the car in the garage last night and this thought went through my mind "If I had a kid and they road their bicycle into the car, what would I do?" I decided not to think about it since it is a few years away.
On a similar note, when I was a kid, I had a minibike (solid frame, no suspension or brakes with a Briggs & Stratton motor) and I was in the driveway facing the garage, gave it a little gas and - -Wham-- throttle sticks wide open. I went full speed into the garage. The only thing that stopped me was that I got wedged between the rear fenders of my Dad's TR4 and mustang. Amazingly there was no damage, but I thought for sure I was in trouble. I guess on balance, it was still better than the time I set the garage on fire, but that's a story for another day . . .
