Default 496FE pump gas, 675ft/lb & 668HP

We just finished this 496C.I. FE for Sal Gianino for his new ERA cobra. This is a 4.310 bore Shelby block with a 4.250 stroke steel billet H. Valasco crankshaft. Scat 4340 H-beam rods, JE 10.5 to 1 pistons. This engine even has a hydraulic roller camshaft and idles at 900rpm's. We used the Edelbrock heads with our stage 2 porting, 2.19/1.75 valves, dual springs with T&D roller rockers. The engine has a Shelby dual plane intake, sam as Eldebrock Performer RPM. This made great looking and running engine with it polished pent roof valve covers and aluminum oil pan. The engine made over 600ft/bls @ 3000rpm's and max torque at 4200 to 4400 rpm's. Max hp was at 5700 to 5800 rpm's and it still made 640hp at 6400rpm's. Look forward to Sal getting this in his new cobra. Thanks Sal for letting us build you this great engine.
