I agree, the trick to keeping the octane requirement low is the compression. I have one friend with an 02 gt mustang running 9 lbs of boost thru a saleen blower on a stock bottom end, he's having no problems. I have another friend running an 03 cobra (8.5:1) with about 30 lbs of boost, and he's still running it on pump gas. we've got 93 octane out here in MD, which is good enough for most of the gearheads around here, but if not, the shop I work at sells C16.
