Lone Star has had a great reputation...especially for builders in the Texas area. I can't believe they would destroy their reputation over a motor. My guess is that they bought the motor from a second rate builder who represented the motor as new to them. When the deal went South their builder did not stand behind it and Lone Star decided to cut their loses and not fix the issue. If they wanted to take of their customer, they could do so in many ways.
The difference between a great company and a bad one is what happens when everything goes WRONG! Everyone is easy to deal with when a deal goes smooth.
The Cobra community has many Quality choices when buying a car. Their has been quite a bit of shake out in this industry in the past and I expect more fall out in the future. Will Lone Star survive?
