Gordon,

The chassis dyno has proven that the Edelbrock carb is not that great for making horsepower. For the bolt on and forget crowd, or the street rodder who does not care about performance, the Edlebrock is tough to beat. For the guy who wants the most out of his drivetrain, the Edelbrock is not the way to go. Again, numbers proven on a chassis dyno speak for themselves. On average, a 20-65HP increase just from switching carbs is not unheard of (and this is at the rear wheels no less).......
