Hi Don:
My seats came with ajustment rails. However, you can bolt the seats directly to the floor without the rails. Mine are bolted to the floor thus no adjustments allowed. I keep a small pillow in the trunk for those infrequent days that Mrs. REDSC400 wants to let the fir fly in the Cobra, as she is 5'6" while I am 6'

I have found the slight benefit of the direct bolt in to be that the seat sits a tiny bit lower into the body/cockpit.

The beauty of the ERA is that a whole bunch of stuff is your choice. BTW, the 427 S/C model from the 60's had naugahyde seats as original equipment, whereas the street version with under car exhaust has leather seats.
