i got the same response so i just called him. He said it is the 428 stroked to 460. He said the car has been super reliable, just put oil in it and go. When i asked him if there were any problems he said the only thing that's not perfect is that it has been tracked and has some rock/sand chips in the front clearcoat, which doesn't bother me at all.

Are there any other important questions i should ask him?

Could someone give me a quick rundown of California registration procedures? I'm sure there is some total bs law i'll have to worry about. I guess i could title it here in MD and then ship it out there.
