Jamo, I have the same spring mount, but did not use it yet as here is my question. That linkage in the pic (identical to mine) pulls the throttle open by pulling the rod that hooks to the carb backwards. In the pic I posted, the spring is also pulling backwards pressure, is it not? How do you get the springs to snap the throttle/throttle linkage rod forwards which is what they should do? Do you have them go forward and then come back underneath the pan so they are in fact pulling forward? I am simply asking cause I stare at my setup every day trying to figure a way for the springs to work. And I am with you, next to a rev limit chip, these things WILL save your A$$/motor.
