Point well taken Steve! Don't go "over board" on a 427 S.O. and break the bank. Would a "crate motor" 351W be acceptable for the new CAV car? I would also choose a 5 speed. I suspect "re-sale" down the road would still be excellent with such a combo,,,,,,or would it?

Say, $40K to get in, $5K for the motor, $5K for the tranny AND labor to finish?
