Chuck:
I cannot remember the exact cost, but it was right around $20k. The build specs were pretty nice and it had the Southern Automotive "bullet proof" bottom end with the Chevy-type rod design. Bill Parham guided me through the build spec selection and I basically ordered what he recommended. I haven't even seen it, but TC told me that it looked pretty nice. It was set-up with a single carb and turkey pan. If you wanted dual carbs, it shouldn't take Southern too much time to make the swap. I think their regular build time is a couple of months, so you could save a little time this way. Give Bill Parham a call. Southern is one of the CC advertisers, so there is a link on this site to their web site. I am not trying to sell this motor for my own benefit at all, I just though that since I won't be needing a motor until 2004, someone in immediate need might be able to put it to good use sooner. Bill can always build me another one.
B/t/w, I am interested to hear how you like your KMP SS. I won't get a glimpse of mine for a while.
