Niles... The McCleod HTOB I installed 17,000 miles ago hasn't been a problem yet. I say yet because it sounds like a few cobra owners have had some issues with the kit. All the units have been engineered for stock replacement but there are variables that will always arise, such as different length bell-housings, finger height differences on pressure plates, engine or transmission swaps, replacement or adaptor bellhousings. Call them and talk to a rep because they will have you make a couple of measurements so they can send you the proper piston length.
The HTOB eliminates trying to find a good spot for the slave cylinder. The clutch pedal will keep your left leg in good shape too.
