Where in my posting do you read disdane for this man's car?
I think its a great car. I'm may be more partial to Uniques but I recognize a good car. This is a good car.
What I do have is disregard for a guy like 750hp that would Bastardize a beautiful car like a Cobra with a "hunchback-of notre dame" hood to cram a Superchanger under an eyesore hood so he could win pissin' matches at the track.

If it's any consolation to you - I knew the hood was ugly as soon as we made it.
I had an authentic looking Cobra before this one, and sold it to build the Hunchback. My car is not a replica of Shelby's finest - it was simply the lightest / fastest car that I could build within our local Department of Transport rules. Thanks for looking at my photos, though
OK - back to your disdain for the customer's car. Your highlighting of the word "purchased" throught your second reply struck me as identical to the attitude of the Real vs Original debates. By highlighting that the 4000 had an assortment of "purchased" Shelby parts fitted, it looks like you're showing the car up as some kind of imposter.....
Hey, I might have misread your writing style, but at the end of the day, you don't appear to be doing the shop any favours by your own attitude.
Dan - I'm glad that you didn't defend my hood. I might have had to send you to the eye specialist.... Someone came up to me at a gas station a little while back, saying that they were building a Cobra and that they wanted to know which company sold my style of hood. I told them that it's an orphan, so he wanted to buy my hood outright...... What's with some people ???
