Rex, you're a bit out of the way. The fastest route would be for you to come up I75 to Atlanta, take 675 north of McDonough over to I285, on up to I85(towards Greenville, SC) to Commerce. Commerce is an hour or so up 85 from the I285/I85 intersection (Spagetti Junction) or two hours between the hours of 4 and 7PM. Take exit 147, go left back over the interstate and look for an Atlanta Dragway sign on the right approximately 1/2 - 3/4 mile. Turn right on the two-lane road and go approximately 2 miles and you will see the track on the left (can't miss it). Gates open at 6PM. If you got up to the next exit (149), there are many shops (Tanger outlet mall and dozens of shops and resturaunts etc. Some of us will be meeting at the Shiny Diner (the place with all the Cobras parket out front).
