I think the majority of the loss was through the H&S air cleaner with the K&N element. Eric H. @ Performance Eng. did in fact tell me that I had about a 20 HP loss with the smaller air cleaner. He said some guys will use the smaller air cleaners for shows, cruise-ins, etc. but when performance counts, they will switch to the larger oval type of air cleaner.

I have both air cleaners, but since I am more of the "Waxer" type of owner, I have never had the larger air cleaner out of the box.

But as Terry mentioned, when you are talking 650 HP, what the he!! does 20 HP mean!!!!
