I'll venture to guess that in the majority of cases, the wife came first. This is a very expensive hobby and most people cannot afford owning these cars until they're at least in their 40's. This is definitely true in my case and I'm still trying to save enough to afford one of these cars. But then who am I to know? One could argue that wives are expensive as well!
