Hi,
A 260 is a small engine so you will need to have a cam with good torque. Stock cams have very mild duration, 194 to 204 degrees of duration at .050 lift. I would go to a comp cam 268 H , this cam is the biggest I'd use and still have some low end torque, will rev to 5,500 easily, .480 lift and 218 degrees duration @ .050 will be easy on the valve train also.
