Thumbs down Fuel Injection Woes

I'm working on a Classic Roadster I started January of 2001.

I purchased a 302 from a 93 GT Mustang with the the engine wiring harness having only the necessary sensors included. That's what I was told. I had to mix and match the CR engine harness with the mustang engine harness.

When the engine is cold, it will start and run for a few seconds and then die. It will do this 3 or 4 times before it will finally continue to run. Once it is running, it runs very rich.

It has new O2 sensors, engine coolant temp sensor, with existing EGR valve, etc.

Does anyone know where to start in diagnosing the problem?
