David Kirkham: Worked at a company that made emblems and insignias by the hundreds. (Owner owns an actual 427 Cobra!) We painted the whole emblem, say, 48 at a time, then wiped the emblem on a clean cloth; the paint stayed in the recessed areas, and it was a pretty good operation. This may or may not work for you, but it worked for us!
