Maybe so, but I called Barry Grant and gave them my engine specs, and they made a carb for My engine. Out of the box it worked better than 2 months of tinkering with the holley. Can you call holley and get them to tell you what jets to run? Also, I wanted the instant gratification of mechanical secondaries. When I want power, I want it right now. If my holley had mechanical secondaries, I probably would have tinkered a while longer.
