Default 428 Stroker, Pump Gas, 636HP, 620ft/lbs

You do not have to always use a 427 to make some good street driven horsepower. We did this 428 for Todd Burnside in Plano,TX after he had several people attempt to build him a decent 428. He had a .060 block with a Scat 4.250 stroke crank to produce 468 C.I.. This engine is 10.6 to 1 with one of our Comp Cams hydraulic roller cams. You do not have to adjust the valves, have some special gas, just put in premium pump gas and go have fun. This engine even surprised me a little. We used our Stage 2 Edelbrock heads with only 2.09 and 1.66 valves because of the 428 block and how the engine would be used. The Edelbrock Perfomer RPM intake has been working great along with the Da Vinci 950 carburator. These engines idle on 800RPM's and make over 600HP. Max tourqe was at 4800RPM's and max HP at 6000RPM's. The tourqe was over 500 by 2800 RPM's. This will make a great Cobra engine and not break the bank. We can do these all day long for 12950.00 complete of the dyno out right. Not many people can deliver that kind of power for that money. I knew those 428's could still make some good power. KC
