It says FERRA
Ok,
This is strange. I was given a tag to put on my car at the BAR referee station. It has a state seal, bar code, VIN reference and sequence number.
Further down it has a spot for year make and displacement. On it it is printed the following: 1960 FERRA 7.0L...
Now I get the 1960, as that is the default year assigned if the referee cannot (or doesn't try) to figure out the actual year of the engine, despite my telling him it was a 1966 427 and the fact that my former BAR lable stated it was a 1966 427.
But what is the FERRA about? I won't say the word but I feel dirty all of a sudden. It's a feeling that won't wash off. does anyone know what the BAR abreviation FERRA means (other than the most obvious answer)?
