If you're not a manufacturer, or a sales agent of a manufacturer, what the hell concern is it of yours anyway? You can't compete because you're not invited. If we, "AS THE COMPETITORS" in this event don't particularlly mind who shows up, I seem to be lost as to where your opinion even counts.
