I paid $10,500 for a freshly rebuilt C5AE with matched heads that was .017+ Depends on the bore and any potential porosity, or other unseen issues that show up on sonic checking. The sleeves kill the the value for you. I'm not oppose to sleeves per se, but the collector valve is deminished.
That said you might get $5k you might get more. I'd sell it here in California. It isn't a long haul, If it were me I'd put it on e-bay. Be totally honest about the sleeves, components and time on the engine. post lots of photo's scan them or get them put on a disc but get as many as possible even build photo's if you have them.
Set the reserve way above your most reasonable asking price and see where it goes. If the auction ends and the reserve hasn't been met no harm no foul. You will owe a few bucks in fees to list it (less than $10 ) If it sells for more than you imagined then you win either way.
