Grumpy, I am considering a Ford t-bird 8.8 for cost and availability and if i do this I will have to fabricate any and all the frame work mounting the rear and suspension to the frame. I'm still hoping I can get some measurements of the frame and body at the rear wheel well area from others cars. I can have access to a friends Superformance but am also interested in others.

Tonyvda, yes I will need all the luck I can get thankyou. what I bought was a true project, a body shell, a frame, a box with a partial front suspension and a rear subframe from a Granada already partially installed. I am unhappy with how that rear sits in the car and if I decide to keep it I will try to convert it to limited slip which it is not at this moment. The track of the Granada rear is 64" which requires a lot of negative offset in the rim to keep it inside the wheel well and limits the tire and rim combinations. The rear also exhibits some extreme negative camber as it now sits. I am trying for a build manual from pilgrim at this time and will make a decision based on what I see there and an availability of parts. and yes it is right hand drive. Tony and Kitcarman have given me quite a bit of info already. This will tuly test my mechanical skills but it will end up being my car just as I wanted it.

ST, great pictures, great looking rear, thanks a lot that was just what I was looking for

Tounguepirate beatiful Jag rear esp with the outboard brakes.
