418 Performance Engineering Stroker - Questions
Dan, Lowell and other P. Engineering 418 stroker owners,
I have read some of your comments on the above mentioned subject and have some questions:
Tranny: I am thinking of upgrading to a TKO so I can cruise on the highway with less RPM's vs. a TKOII. Is this a correct assumption?
Is 92 pump gas sufficient? If I can get 93 or 94 octane I would obviuosly use it.
Any issues with carb loading up at slow speeds or idle.? What I am tyring to say is will it only run wide open or is it an all around performer..track to city.etc.
Can you shed any light on the resale of P.E. 418 engine vs. a Roush 408 stroker. I do like Roush's 2 year warranty - added peice of mind.
