Default vic jr or rpm airgap

well i was reading a article on the performer rpm and rpm airgap from westech, now on my 408w im using a vic jr manifold but the rpm airgap was better down low where i need it, they compared the vic jr to the airgap, vic jr made best power to 2700 then the airgap took over,at 4000rpm's vic jr made 466 ft lbs, vs airgap 486, thats big differance id say, from 2700 to 4800 the airgap won then the vic came in, 3500rpm's vic jr 449vs airgap 470, ft lbs, hum wondering if i should change to airgap and see what happens, anybody? 392 ford stroker they tested.
