Default WIX oil filters

I just picked up my new-to-me coupe and am going to change the oil for the first time. The car has a few thousand miles on it.

Right now it has a remotely mounted Fram HP-6 filter. I have always heard terrible things about Fram so i have stayed away from them. Lately i have been hearing a lot of good things about WIX filters. I looked it up and they seem to have two filters that are comparable to the HP-6.

51222R is one of their "high efficiency endurance filters"

57003R is one of their "advanced performance" filters

should i go with one of these? Which one? would i be better off sticking with Fram? K&N?

The car is mostly a weekend warrior/track car. I have 3 track days and an autocross scheduled in the next month. I will be using either Royal Purple or Red Line Synthetic oil. I haven't totally decided on weight, probably 10w40 (unless someone has a good suggestion here too).

Thanks,
Steve
