Found this info on the two different kinds of filters:

Advanced Performance Oil Filters use a media (T-10) that is rated at a Frazier Air Flow of approximately 267 CFM and is wire backed. The unique wire backing provides a very stable base for a media blend of fiberglass, polyester and cellulose. This media is resistant to high temperatures and water levels in the oil that can plug standard media types. Advanced Performance Media (T-10) is designed to provide a high positive oil flow with low restriction.

These are the Wix recommended oil filters for maximum horsepower increase, to be used primarily on concrete or asphalt tracks.

High Efficiency Endurance Oil Filters use a media (T-71) rated at a Frazier Air Flow of approximately 75 CFM. This media contains a higher resin content than our Advanced Performance Oil Filters to trap and hold smaller contaminants and provide higher efficiency. High Efficiency Endurance Oil Filters include all the other component features as the Advanced Performance Oil Filters.
